Hi Dave, its been awhile so i thought I would chime in and give you an up date.
My Ventura has been running great. I have made no motor changes but last month I pulled out the 3.70 gears and installed 3.90s. My car now has a best 60 foot of 1.36 and has several rear wheel 60s of a 1.48 and a new best ET of 10.08 @ 132.7.
My car weighed in at 3379# so i figure my 11.8 to 1 motor is cranking out well over 650 hp and that is with a 950 carb and no spacer, and 29 degrees of timing total on 9 inch tires and caltracs. Been running 3 gallons of 91 pump gas to 2 gallons of 110 mix. Hope all is going well with ya and I'll talk at you soon. Here is a vid from last Wed night. Rear wheel 60.
