We spend a considerable amount of time testing different camshaft configurations on the track and on the dyno, give us a call to discuss the best choice for your particular combination.
Note: When using a stock OEM valley pan and any type of Roller Lifter, be sure to clearance the underside of the valley pan with a hammer so it will clear the link bars on the roller lifters. 72 and prior valley pans only need to be clearanced on the Passenger side right below the PCV valve back to about the middle of the engine while 73 and up valley pans require clearancing on both sides. The best way to check for clearance is to have no heads on the shortblock, the lifters installed and then place the valley pan on the block, rotate the crank/cam to be sure there is adequate clearance (about .100").
