74 Pontiac Grandville
455 bored .040 with Stock rods ,beams polished, big ends resized,arp bolts
stck crank ground, trw slug flat tops,polished ,oil holes chamfered, entire assembly balanced,2 bolt studed bottom end
Bullet racing cam single pattern Hydraulic flat tappet with Rhoads Lifters, 108 LSA,set @106,231 231 with 556 556 lifts using my H.S 1.65's
6x-8 heads ported by Marty Warden flowing 250@400 lift and 260 @500 lift comp set at 9:3.1
Stock 69 intake opened up to 2.10x1.15,using a cliff q-jet and 1" spacer
dougs 1 3/4 headers into 3" X pipe with dumps
turbo 400, Coan 2.75 Low gear set,TRANSGO Shift kit ,continental tight 10" 3200 stall
3.42 gears on 26x10x15 mickey slicks

best time 12.84@104 with a 1.77 60 ft @ 4600 lbs.

New upgrades include same short block, But with addition of SD'S KRE cnc 290 heads and their old faithful roller cam package set at 106 INC,along with a RPM intake...

this combo rocks!!

With a fresh shortblock and some other upgrades Darby has now run 11.64@115.07mph, still with the same top end combo
